LOCATION A 6 to 7-min walk from the Santuário. I was able to start my day with meditation in the Capelinha das Aparições and in the Basílica, before breakfast, on both of our recent visits. GARDENS The beautifully laid out gardens, with walkways, are a treasure. The only detail missing, for some strange reason, are garden benches to rest on upon one's return from, say, pilgrimage along the Via Sacra. Or even just to have a chat with fellow pilgrims. ROOM We stayed in the new wing, which is comfortable and well lit. The best feature in the room is a bedside reading light with a flexible neck. BREAKFAST Of all the hotels we stay in -- in various parts of Portugal -- Consolata serves one of the best breakfasts: plenty of fresh fruit, cold cuts, hot and cold options, homemade pancakes and cakes, several varieties of Portuguese breads (including my favourite Pão de Deus), nuts and seeds for your cereals, lactose-free milks and yoghurts, and much more. To top it all: one wall of the dining room is all glass, with a stunning view of the Basílica.

Fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of parking right outside the entrance of the hotel, the room is beautifully decorated with good air-conditioning and a large bathroom, comfortable beds with plugs beside the bed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice in a nice dining room.

Breakfast was great and many choices. Reception staff and met also some housekeeping staff, really nice ones an this is a plus. Room was ok not as maintained as expected but large room. Free parking large and very nice. Bathroom had all needed, and a plus was the bathtub as a relax after a day out. Nevertheless, money wise value, can be found other options as well in Fatima. Overall was ok. Mixed feelings though lol

Upgrading the room was worth it !Bed very comfortable! Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the sanctuary! Lots of sitting area in the hotel! Lunch and dinner worth the price ! Breakfast very good !Sta

very close to the Sanctuary. very friendly and accommodating staff. Good restaurant great religious gift shop Chapels available for prayer Charging station available for rental car. free use.

It is right next to Cova da Iria, where the basilica and apparition site is located. It is super clean and tidy. The bed is good. Breakfast and meal at restaurant is always good. And all the staff is excellent .

Consolata was a beautiful place to stay if you are visiting the Shrine of Fatima. The beds, sheets, food, location, peacefulness, EVERYTHING was perfect. I recommend it for anyone visiting Fatima, you will not be disappointed.

A very pleasant town and the hotel location was just the correct place for a pilgrimage to Fatima. All the staff were gracious, helpful and looked after all our needs.

Very modern, very clean, very comfortable, very spacious room. Staff responded quickly to my comments re coffee-maker and fridge and remedied the situation. Ample parking and very close to the sanctuary.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast was delicious. It was a pleasure walking through the beautiful adjoining garden to get to the shrine.
